Why Swatantrata?
Let nobody tell you that the second decade of the 21st century has been a bad time.
But are we going through really worst days of humanity, No We are living through the greatest improvement in human living standards in history? Extreme poverty has fallen below 10 percent of the world’s population for the first time.
Overall Global inequality has fallen record low as Africa and Asia are rising. child mortality has fallen to record low levels; famine virtually went extinct; malaria, polio, and heart disease are all in decline.
Little of this made the news because the good news is no news. Not only just for media but also for most of the organization, institutions don’t recognize and admire these positive changes and progress. We have been facing many challenges as we do face every time. because bad things happen while the world still gets better.
We wanted to embrace this wonder human flourishing and progress. We embrace and promote ideas and policies that cause human flourishing.
We believe in a society where each and every individual has a choice and opportunity to build a decent life with dignity.
we promote the value of each individual to live a life of dignity. We believe that the pursuit of liberty is an essential goal of humanity. The pursuit of liberty is balanced by the responsibilities that all individuals assume over their actions. We look to create a world where an individual has the greatest liberty possible, without interfering or undermining the freedom of any other individual.
The basis of all freedoms is that of human rights and the rule of law. This can only be true in a society where all life is valued equally, and judged fairly.
A society, whose citizens are not able to feed themselves, is not truly free. Therefore, Swatantrata promotes economic liberty through an open market mechanism that is bound by laws that make sure that each actor has a fair opportunity. This has been the greatest engine driving human prosperity. In India, economic liberalization has lifted hundreds of millions of people out of poverty. But the story has only begun as India achieves its rightful place on the world stage.
We believe in the creativity and responsibility of every individual. Open societies need clear and just rules so that liberty is neither unduly constrained nor exploited. We are working to help create transparent, accountable and responsive governance systems.
